"Dynamic Black Fatherhood Manifesto" available on www.iammikedorsey.com and www.amazon.com
Today's Guest is non other than my Friend Dr. Tierney Bates. Before we get started, I'd like to honor the father of our guest James Bates. While conducting the interview, Tierney let us know that his father had just entered Hospice care at 86yrs old. Unfortunately, James Bates recently passed away.
Dr. Tierney Bates is the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at North Carolina Central University. He's a Husband and Father and has a dynamic story. In this episode we discuss:
-The Importance of HBCU Education
-Growing up in a Diverse Environment
-How getting diagnosed with Kidney failure in his mid 30s impacted his life
-His Journey toward becoming a College President
and so much more...
